The park was expanded in the 1970s to protect endangered species like rhinos and Rothschild’s giraffes.

Visitors can enjoy game drives to spot rhinos, lions, leopards, and over 450 bird species. Baboon Cliff offers stunning panoramic views of the lake. The park is best visited from June to March, with flamingo numbers varying depending on water levels.
