Welcome to Ole Maantu Adventures. By booking a tour, using our website, or engaging with our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking and Payment

• A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm any booking.

• Full payment is due:

  • High & Peak Seasons – 65 days before arrival

  • Low Season – 35 days before arrival

• For bookings payment policy, full payment is due 65 days before the safari.

• Payment can be made via bank transfer, Mpesa, or credit/debit card.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

• All cancellations must be made in writing.

• Cancellation charges are as follows:

  • 60 days or more before arrival – 65% refund (minus deposit)

  • 45–59 days before arrival – 45% refund (minus deposit)

  • 30–44 days before arrival – 25% refund (minus deposit)

  • Less than 30 days before arrival – No refund

• Missed services due to late arrival, no-shows, or early departure are non-refundable.

3. Changes by the Company

• We reserve the right to change itineraries, accommodations, or transportation due to safety, weather, or unavoidable circumstances.

• In such cases, we will offer suitable alternatives of equal or better value.

4. Children on Safari

• Children from 5 months and above are allowed on safari.

• A qualified nurse must accompany infants and toddlers, at an additional cost of no less than USD 60 per day (paid directly or via the booking).

• A parent or legal guardian must always accompany children under 18.

• Discounts may apply for children, and special child-friendly accommodations can be arranged upon request.

• Guardians are responsible for ensuring that children’s behavior does not endanger themselves, other guests, or wildlife.

5. Health and Insurance

• All travelers must ensure they are medically fit for the tour.

• Valid travel insurance covering health, accidents, and trip cancellations is strongly recommended.

• It is the traveler’s responsibility to obtain any required vaccinations or medications.

6. Photography and Image Rights

• Ole Maantu Adventures may take photographs or videos during safaris for marketing and promotional purposes.

• By joining a tour, you consent to being included in such media unless you request otherwise in writing before the tour begins.

• Guests may take photos for personal use only; commercial photography requires prior written consent.

• Please respect local communities and wildlife by seeking permission before photographing people or restricted locations.

7. Liability

• We are not liable for injury, loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by delays, accidents, or third-party service failures.

• We act as an agent for accommodations and transport services and are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

• Unauthorized copying, downloading, or redistribution of our content is prohibited.

• All website content is the intellectual property of Ole Maantu Adventures.

9. Governing Law

• These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes shall be resolved under Kenyan jurisdiction.
